Last year I undertook some photography for Matt Flavell who runs Boxing Evolution, a cause set up primarily to help people with personal development and realise new goals. Anyway he has been training the lead actress in “Ellie”, a drama about a girl who takes up boxing. I got an invitation to join him on set and here are some behind the scenes pics from the day of the filming two days ago.
Just before the Bank Holiday got going I was contacted by Darin who was organising the an evening for the Oxjam music festival (which kicks off properly in the Autumn) . Her photographer was ill and could I step in. Here are some photos from the event.
I took these pictures a week ago in North Yorkshire. It was a blazing hot day and the heather was just coming out and I thought I might see a grouse or two. The grouse were extremely elusive (which, as this was the week after the 12th is probably unsurprising) but the butterflies were out in profusion enjoying the thistle nectar harvest. It was too good to miss….
