The Pride in London Month has opened with the Spectacular – and what a night. People with so many entertaining skills kept us amused and amazed. Michael Twaits hosted the event with aplomb and drew the night to an end with a fiery rap that was so poignant in the aftermath of the Pulse Nightclub sadness in Orlando, which received a well deserved standing ovation.

I was fortunate to photograph the amazing abilities on show at Pride’s Got Talent last Sunday. Hosted by Michael Twaits and produced by Ian Massa-Harris it was a highly entertaining evening. you can see the complete set of photos here: https://https://www.facebook.com/ianmassaharris/media_set?set=a.10156848266115328.625415327&type=3
Meanwhile here are a few to gove you a taste of the evening…
Doing a fair bit of lgbt related work at the moment particularly with Pride. Last Saturday I got a text asking if I could be at Tanner Warehouse that evening to capture the social for the Out for Sports crowd. Well how could I miss a party???
There are some amazing new talents that are emerging through the likes of Pride in London. These guys and gals have developed acts that are very entertaining and some of them will definitely be ‘on the scene’ within the next year or two. I photographed these folk performing this week in the pubs like The Two Brewers (Clapham), the Bloc Bar (Camden) and the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Look out for them both in the final and also at Pride itself.
